Wave ID Solo read-only reader was designed for customers seeking to leverage their existing card system for applications beyond building access. The Wave ID Solo delivers plug and play functionality with proximity and contactless smart cards and integrates with all leading operating systems, applications and embedded controllers. The 13.56 MHz model is compatible with most contactless smart cards and the 125 kHz proximity model provides error-free identification for over 300 million physical access cards in use worldwide.
Application Flexibility
The reader is specifically designed for applications such as kiosks, time & attendance, point of sale, hoteling, meeting attendance, as well as others which require special mounting versatility. This reader mount easily with two screws and fit in a single-gang electrical box. They incorporate all the functionality of the standard desktop readers and are ideal for specialized card and badge reading locations.
No Required Software
Featuring plug-and-play functionality, no required software, and embedded configurable fl ash memory, the Wave ID Solo Surface Mount reader is ready to integrate with nearly all operating systems, applications, and embedded controllers. The reader can be configured to add keystrokes before and after the card's data. The USB model emulates a keyboard and keystrokes the card's ID and/or site code to the cursor's location in the application. The serial version, comes in RS232, delivers the card's data in ASCII.
