The Mitutoyo dial depth gauge features a redesigned white dial face that is quick and easy to read measurements in fine units. The contact point for the depth gauge is carbide tipped and its bottom surface is hardened, ground, and lapped for better precision and wear resistance. Some models have a back-plunger type dial for upward-facing readings and a needle probe.
