This portable plasma cutter has an adjustable output up to 40 Amps to cleanly slice through steel from as thin as 24-gauge to as thick as 3/8-in. thick. You can use it on stainless steel and aluminum, too.
The Versa-Cut 40 weighs just 24-lbs, requires only 5-7 CFM of compressed air, and can plug into a 120V or 240V power input, making it an exceptionally versatile and portable unit that you can take anywhere it's needed.
The included Trafimet CB50 torch has a long 20-ft. cable for maximum maneuverability as you work. It also uses common-style consumables that are available from most local welding supply shops. A 60% duty cycle gives you plenty of up-time to complete long cuts.
The Versa-Cut 40 uses modern IGBT inverter technology and features 2T/4T modes for smoother long cuts, a breaker switch, and a digital amperage readout for precision. Its pilot arc feature delvers an instant arc when cutting difficult materials like rusted steel or expanded metal.
