The Altelix Cable Modem Enclosure is a vented weatherproof enclosure designed to provide added security from vandalism and protection from harsh environments, while allowing ventilation for Arris® SURFboard® modems. It features two 3' inch air vents with rain shields and screens.
Rugged Polycarbonate + ABS Construction
This sleek enclosure is molded out of UV resistant Polycarbonate + ABS, an industrial grade plastic with greater strength and durability than standard ABS. It features a gasketed hinged door with dual latches, a stainless steel security screw and provision for padlock. Integrated mounting feet simplify installation. It meets or exceeds NEMA 3R, 3RX and IP24.
Plug and Play Setup
The Altelix Cable Modem enclosure provides easy plug-n-play installation. Once the enclosure is mounted, attach the Arris® SURFboard® cable modem to the internal mounting bracket. Once seated on the mounting bracket, a thumb clip keeps it securely in place. Plug the Arris® SURFboard power supply into the pre-wired 120VAC power outlet then plug the enclosure's 5 foot power cord into a 120VAC power outlet and you are up and running. Cable grommets on the enclosure allow coax and Ethernet cables to be connected to modem. This enclosure is compatible with the following Arris® SURFboard® modems:
