The Suspension Probe Three Phase Duplex control panel is used to operate two (2) pumps for water, dewatering, and storm water applications. Comes in 208/230/460VAC, 9.0-14 FLA Ranges, and a Type 4X (outdoor) enclosure. The control panel includes five (5) 20' single point suspension probes, a hand-off-auto (HOA) switch with pump run indicator for each pump, a drain-fill selector switch, and an alternating relay with load selector switch plus load indicators. The incoming and pump power must match system voltage with conduit connections (required) per local codes. Refer to included electrical schematic for complete wiring and voltage information.
The control panel is operated by the included suspension probes for reference point, pump stop, pump lead, pump lag, and high/low liquid level alarm. As the liquid level rises/recedes activating the pump lead probe, the pump will start and continue to run until the pump stop probe is deactivated to complete the pump cycle. If the pump lag probe is activated, the second pump will start and the pump(s) will continue to run until the pump stop probe is deactivated. If the high/low level probe is activated, the beacon will illuminate and buzzer will annunciate. If the alarm test/silence switch is toggled to "silence" during an alarm condition, it will silence the buzzer while the alarm beacon remains illuminated. The alarm condition will reset when the high/low level probe deactivates and the system will auto reset for the next alarm cycle. Test alarm once a month to ensure system integrity, toggle the alarm test/silence switch to "test", the beacon should illuminate and buzzer should annunciate. Use the drain-fill selector switch to easily convert from a pump down (drain) to pump up (fill) application without having to rewire the suspension probes.
Auxiliary contacts can be included to connect to a building automation system (BAS) or SCADA system and phone dialers for remote notification of an alarm condition and/or pump run events.
