Features:
- (1) Dual Alarm Beacons - Polycarbonate alarm beacons are mounted on top of the enclosure. During an alarm condition in zone-1, the amber beacon will illuminate and for an alarm condition in zone-2, the red beacon will illuminate.
- (2) Alarm Test Switch - Flip switch upward, the beacons should illuminate and buzzer should annunciate. Test weekly to ensure proper system operation.
- (3) Alarm Silence Switch - During an alarm condition, flip the switch upward to silence the buzzer and the alarm beacon(s) will remain illuminated.
- (4) Alarm Buzzer - Annunciates to indicate an alarm condition when the sensor (signaling device) for either or both zone-1 and/or zone-2 activates.
- (5) Sensor Terminals - Terminals 3 and 4 are for zone-1 signaling device (filter switch). Terminals 1 and 2 are for zone-2 signaling device (float switch).
- (6) Auxiliary Contact Terminals - Interface with external devices; BAS systems and phone dialers. Terminals 5 and 7 are for zone-1 auxiliary contacts and terminals 5 and 6 are for zone-2 auxiliary contacts; normally open, rated 120VAC, 5 Amps maximum.
- (7) Fuse - Protects internal wiring, rated at 1 Amp, 250VAC maximum.
- (8) Pump Power Receptacle - A female, 15A, pump power receptacle is pre-installed and wired to the pump power terminal blocks and/or circuit breaker with ground lug.
- (9) Incoming Pump/Alarm Power Terminal Blocks - Incoming pump/alarm power line connections are wired to the bottom side of the terminal blocks and/or circuit breaker with ground wire terminated using the included ground lug
- (11) Cable Grips - Creates a liquid and gas tight strain relief connection for the alarm float switch, filter switch, and auxiliary wiring when securely fastened.
- (12) PVC Hub - Rubber grommet with slits accepts the incoming alarm and pump power wiring, prevents gases from entering the enclosure when sealed properly.
- (13) Pedestal - Provides wire routing access for system wiring while protecting from water intrusion. Curved design and cutouts to securely fasten to a riser.
Use the Power Post™ 4X 2-Zone Pedestal to make a professional and safe connection for power and float switch wiring connections to your on-site septic system. The Power Post™ pedestal eliminates a 4" x 4" wood post and the exposed wires for a safe, clean, and quick installation. This system can be used for a wide variety of applications, including but not limited to: septic tanks, holding tanks, pump chambers, and water tanks. Comes in 230VAC, enclosure is rated Type 4X (outdoor).
The Power Post™ 4X 2-Zone Pedestal has an integrated outdoor alarm equipped with dual alarm beacons for effluent filter (amber) and high septic (red), buzzer, and alarm test/silence switches. During an alarm condition, the amber (zone-1) and/or red (zone-2) beacons will illuminate, buzzer will annunciate, and auxiliary contacts will activate. Lift the alarm silence switch upward to silence the buzzer during an alarm condition, alarm beacon(s) will remain on until the sensor for each zone is deactivated and the system automatically resets itself for the next alarm cycle.
The 36-inch pedestal has an easy reach access cover on the front and is installed with the bottom curved side snug against the riser wall (riser not included). Use the side cutouts to securely fasten the pedestal to the riser.
Note: If zone-1 is in an alarm condition and the buzzer is silenced, and then zone-2 goes into an alarm condition, the buzzer will reactivate until the silence switch is lifted upward a second time to acknowledge that a new alarm condition has occurred.
