The WaterPro™ Single Phase Control Panel can be expanded into a complete water protection control system which provides multiple options for flood prevention strategies. The control panel is rated at 120/230VAC, 0-20 Amps, and includes two relays. Multiple sensors (signaling device) can be connected to each zone of the control panel for expanded monitoring (parallel wiring and junction box may be required).
The first relay is for low voltage valve control and can be used with motorized valves as well as solenoid valves. A voltage terminal strip containing AC and DC volts in both 12 and 24 volt for field connecting any low voltage valve. Valve status LEDs for "open" and "closed" are located on the circuit board for low voltage valve position indication.
The second relay is a 20 Amp power relay and can switch high voltage valves (120VAC or 230VAC) or interrupt power to a well pump or electric water heater.
The control panel can monitor three independent zones. A "DIP" switch allows for field selectable activation for each zone of the low and high voltage relays depending on the type of sensors used with the system. For example, if a high level sump sensor is on zone-1, place the zone-1 "DIP" to off so the sensor will only activate the remote alarm. Conversely, if a WaterPro™ WaterSpotter™ flood sensor is connected to zone-1, place the zone-1 "DIP" to on so the sensor will activate both the low and high voltage relays AND the remote alarm panel.
The water supply is stopped upon water detection/alarm. A power loss or water evaporation at the sensor will not restore operation. After water is no longer detected at any sensor, press the "Reset" pushbutton on the front of the control panel to manually reset the system.
