November 11th - a significant day for the whole country! We pay tribute to Veterans - soldiers, sailors, and airmen - brave heroes, who put their lives on the line to give the freedoms we have now...
The history of Veterans Day dates back to 1919 when President Woodrow Wilson declared November 11 'Armistice Day' to commemorate the 1st anniversary of the end of WW I - "the war that will end all wars." The armistice entered into force at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month.
But then WW II and the Korean War happened. Thus, since June 1, 1954, America has honored veterans of all wars. In honor of all the veterans for their fearless deeds… with respect and gratitude!
