Features:
- 316SS
- A full-convolution elastomer bellows provide maximum flexibility in compensating for shaft movement while torsional stress on the bellows is controlled by a dent and grove positive drive arrangement.
Services:
- Centrifugal water pumps, sump pumps, submersible and swimming pool pumps.
Absolute Sealing
Proper selection and installation of seals result in less pumpage loss, cleaner facilities, less fire hazard, no danger from fumes, and no contamination of the fluid being pumped.
No Rubbing Friction Between the Shaft and Seal Parts
Replace packing with a mechanical seal and avoid expensive shaft or sleeve replacements.
Flexible Seals Mean Longer Service Life
Compared to packing, mechanical seals are more flexible and are able to compensate for shaft deflection, axial and radial end play, vibration, and seal face wear.
Less Friction Means Valuable Power Savings
Mechanical seals use less friction than packing. Therefore, they require less horsepower consumption.
Precision Lapped Sealing Surfaces
Positively control leakage and eliminate "break-in" runs.
Higher Speeds and Pressures
The seals are designed for higher speeds and pressures.
Flat Surfaces of Mating Faces
Sealing surfaces are precision lapped to a flatness of one to three light bands, which maintains the necessary face film lubrication, resulting in positive leakage control.
