CMOD compact encoder modulator system with licensed Dolby AC/3 audio codec & digital HDTV DVB-T output. Ideal for video distribution in existing systems or buildings wired with coax for terrestrial TV. Converts live video to a digital HDTV channel compatible with any DVB-T (QPSK or QAM) set-top box, tuner, or digital TV. Inputs are provided for HDMI or Component video up to 1080p60 for H.264 or 1080i60 for MPEG-2. Provides the same quality encoding as larger 19-in-rack systems without the advanced features seldom needed in most installations; such as ASI or IP interfaces. USB file storage interface is provided for recording the encoded video transport stream from live sources. These *.ts files can then be transferred to a computer or played back through the modulator output on a loop. This feature is ideally suited for digital signage applications or system information channels. All features are through the front panel LCD & back-lit keypad for convenient programming. This unit can generate digital TV channels compatible with all world DVB-T systems or QPSK receivers.
