The SPD CNC are low cost, self-reversing tapping attachments for CNC machining centers. They use ER collets and employ a simple stop arm system for easy installation on machines with automatic tool change. The SPD CNC was developed specifically for short-run job shop applications. Their low cost makes them economical to use, and they provide all the advantages associated with the elimination of machine spindle reversal.
