The REXP-1220U-RP-US 12-Bay SAS RAID Expansion Enclosure for QNAP NAS from QNAP is meant to be used with an existing QNAP NAS system to expand its drive capacity. This model can house up to 12 3.5"/2.5" SAS, SATA, and SSD drives so you can use whatever drives fit your application. It connects its multiple expansion bays via high-speed mini-SAS cables and features a 12 Gbps SAS interface with a 2U rackmount form factor. Combined with the QTS Storage Manager, you'll be able to back up storage, manage your drives, and easily identify faulty drives for maintenance.
