Nordic Pure Half Inch Ring Panel AC Furnace Air Filters consist of an internal frame bonded between flat layers of two different types of electrostatically charged HVAC furnace filter media. The first layer is a high-capacity, polyester filter material which acts as a pre-filter, capturing large airborne particles. The second, more efficient, layer is a MERV rated smooth poly-blend filter material. The electrostatic charge works as a magnet to draw in and trap smaller airborne particles. In combination, the half inch (1/2″) double media air filters provide exceptional air filter capacity and remarkable efficiency.
We special order the internal frame for the half inch furnace filter, so please make sure you order the correct size. The Actual Size listed above is the exact size of the metal frame. The AC filter material extends beyond the frame, which is 9-gauge wire grid with a support that runs through the middle for added strength and stability.
Half inch ring panel furnace air conditioner filters are especially great for apartments, campers, boats, buses, RVs, AC and heater window units, and any air system that requires half-inch (1/2″) air condition filters. In opinion, this double-media half inch air filter is even more effective than a half inch pleated air filter. With its two layers, it does double-duty! We offer almost any size half inch A/C air filter you are looking for, along with a 30-day money back guarantee.
Important Note: Almost all furnace air filters have a different Actual Size (the exact dimensions) than Nominal Size (the name). It is best to measure the exact size of your A/C filter and compare it to Actual Size to be sure your HVAC replacement filter will fit!
