Alnico magnet material is an alloy made up of aluminum, nickel, cobalt and copper, with a rough cast surface which can be ground to close dimensions and to a bright metallic finish. Alnico is electrically conducted, can be E.D.M.'d to form holes and shapes, and can be plated. Ideal for high heat applications, alnico can withstand operating temperatures up to 800°F.
