Packed with the latest IGBT inverter technology and quality features, the Eastwood MIG 140 delivers precision welds on sheet metal and other light steel and stainless steel projects up to 3/16-in. thick. This versatile 140-Amp welder runs on conventional 120V household power (or by generator) and weighs less than 25-lbs for go-anywhere portability.
Experienced welders as well as beginners will appreciate the MIG 140's Smart Wire Feed feature that ramps up wire speed at the beginning of the weld to prevent excess material. Its metal drive motor ensures smooth operation. A tack-weld setting allows for perfectly timed short pulses, perfect for plug welds and spot welds. It also includes 2T and 4T controls for greater precision and comfort, especially for long welds.
The MIG 140 includes a Tweco-style torch that uses commonly available consumables. It doubles as a flux-core welder for gas-free welding and can also weld aluminum with the addition of an optional spool gun (Eastwood Item # 20172). With all these great features, the MIG 140 matches the overall performance of more expensive welders.
