The Gryphon 4500 imager comes with a megapixel sensor which provides ultimate reading performance on any code types, all with a greater Depth of Field and Field of View. As it's a premium scanner, it can capture images with high quality and clarity to suit all your needs. The warm white illumination is not only easier on human eyes but also helps to better read a greater range of barcodes on colored labels. This is especially useful when combined with high-density optics to enable the reading codes from LCD monitors, cell phones, smartphones, and other mobile devices.
You can further simplify the operator's activities by making use of the adjustable multi-position cradle. This provides the flexibility of using the imager in presentation mode to read the codes without the need to pick it up, all while it's charging.

Maintain cleanliness like no one else
You can never be too cautious nowadays, and continually having to clean equipment can be very time-consuming. As with many products designed for use in the Health Care industry, all the versions of the Gryphon 4500 are made from special materials resistant to harsh chemical cleaning. To provide further protection to the operator, the imagers are treated to inhibit bacterial growth on the surface of the device. With no physical contact present on the body of the device and on its base station, it can be wiped easily and quickly between shifts. This also extends the life of both devices as no preventative maintenance is required to keep the charging contacts clean.
