The DAPT-4000 is a battery-operated wireless vehicle sensor that has the ability to send different signals for vehicles that are entering and exiting. By using two probes that are placed near the driveway, the sensor can now determine the direction of travel. When used with either the DCR-4000 or RE-4k Plus, different sounds or outputs can be selected for vehicles that are coming or going. The DAPT-4000 can detect a car passing by up to about 10' from the probes. It can send a signal back to the receiver up to 1 mile away.
