Series A500 2" backset Mortise Lock case has a unique design. It features a stainless steel latch bolt and a full 1" throw solid stainless steel deadbolt. The exposed metal buttons are well-finished to match the appearance of the stainless steel latch and deadbolt.
Function: Entrance, Dormitory Mortise with Egress
Deadbolt and latch key outside. Deadbolt by turn piece inside. The inside thumb piece retracts the latch and deadbolt simultaneously. The outside thumb piece is always rigid. Latch deadlocked by auxiliary latch or deadbolt.
