Series A500 2" backset Mortise Lock case has a unique design. It features a stainless steel latch bolt and a full 1" throw solid stainless steel deadbolt. The exposed metal buttons are well-finished to match the appearance of the stainless steel latch and deadbolt.
Function: Dormitory with Egress
Latch by thumb piece from outside except when projected deadbolt. Latch deadlocked by auxiliary latch or deadbolt. Deadbolt/latch by key from outside. Deadbolt by T piece from inside. Inside knob retracts latch/deadbolt simultaneously unlocking outside T piece.
