Series A500 2" backset Mortise Lock case has a unique design. It features a stainless steel latch bolt and a full 1" throw solid stainless steel deadbolt. The exposed metal buttons are well-finished to match the appearance of the stainless steel latch and deadbolt.
Function: Entrance for Electric Clutched Trim
Latch by lever from either side except when the outside. Latch deadlocked by auxiliary latch or deadbolt. Deadbolt by turn piece from inside. The inside lever restarts the latch and deadbolt simultaneously. The release button unlocks the outside lever when the deadbolt is withdrawn. The outside lever is always incorporated unless electric is clutched on the outside lever with authority.
