Series A500 2" backset Mortise Lock case has a unique design. It features a stainless steel latch bolt and a full 1" throw solid stainless steel deadbolt. The exposed metal buttons are well-finished to match the appearance of the stainless steel latch and deadbolt.
Function: Dormitory with Egress
Latch by knob on either side except when projected deadbolt locks outside knob/lever and deadlocks latch. Deadbolt and latch by key outside. Deadbolt by turn piece inside. The inside knob/lever retracts the latch and deadbolt simultaneously, automatically unlocking the outside knob. Auxiliary latch deadlocks latch.
