The sensor is potted inside a 1/4" stainless steel probe and a 1/2" NPT double-ended stainless steel fitting. The sensors are potted inside the probe with a thermally conductive compound. All Immersion Units feature etched Teflon leadwires and double-encapsulated sensors, creating a watertight package that withstands high humidity and condensation.
