Features:
- Symphony analog input with Advanced Stepped Gain mic preamp and Industry A/D Conversion
- Mic pre: Up to 72 dB of gain in 1 dB increments, noiseless gain adjustment; +26 dBu maximum input level; Improved Common mode noise rejection and EMI suppression for optimal performance; Switchable impedance (2.4k/10k ohms) to support passive mic splitting in Live sound applications
- Control all mic preamps from Symphony I/O's front-panel, the Apogee hardware remote control, or in Apogee control software
- Simplified and optimized signal path - fewer components, higher channel count, same flagship audio quality
The Apogee Electronics Symphony I/O Mk II 16 MP Connect Dante / Pro Tools Audio Interface features flagship A/D conversion, 16 mic preamps, modular I/O, and an intuitive touchscreen display. The installed Connect 16 MP module also gives digital I/O including 16 AES/EBU outputs, four TOSLINK ports, and coaxial S/PDIF jacks.
The front-panel touchscreen offers convenient access to nearly every setting such as sample rate, clock source, headphone and speaker output levels, meters for all I/O, and section navigation, as well as input levels, digital I/O, and configuration settings.
The rear panel provides access to the two I/O module slots-one occupied by the Connect 16 MP and the other open for future expansion, while two RJ45 connectors ensure easy integration with Dante audio networks. Also included are a Mini-DigiLink port and Loop Sync I/O for use with Pro Tools HD/HDX systems, Wordclock I/O connectors for synchronizing external digital equipment, and a quiet digitally controlled fan to keep everything running cool.
The Symphony I/O Mk II features an ultrahigh-fidelity DAC and headphone amplifier with Apogee's Constant Current Drive technology, which dynamically compensates for nonlinearities from any connected headphones to provide massive power while maintaining extremely low distortion and linear frequency response.
