Thanks to the 12" x 24" hot top, you can manage multiple stock pots and fry pans on the same surface, making it easy to simmer specialty foods like chocolate, cheese fondue, pasta sauce, and delicate vegetables. You can also keep soups and stews hot and ready to serve after they finish cooking. The smooth, 5 kW heating area is made of durable cast iron to help retain heat, while also making it much easier to clean than traditional ranges with coil-style burners. A thermostatic control allows for precise temperature control to accommodate the various cooking temperatures of different foods.
