Bearing races can now be removed and installed precisely in minutes on a stripped-down hub utilizing bearing specific adapters and a shop press.

The split ring is forced to expand over the wedge, increasing the diameter of the split ring until the ring clamps onto the bearing race. Split rings are manufactured from high-grade steel and undergo multiple treatment processes, ensuring the longevity of the tool.
The shop press is used to apply force to the split ring/wedge assembly, pressing the bearing race out with little effort. A shop press can also be applied to installraces in conjunction with one of the adapter kits.
The 10908 kit provides a safer, more streamlined method for servicing bearing races. Traditional welding, hammering and punching methods are time-consuming, cumbersome and dangerous; regularly resulting in injuries to technicians.
