F4-212 is an updated version of the previous generation F4-210. In comparison with the previous generation, F4-212 is equipped with a more powerful ARM V8.2 Cortex-A55 64-bit 1.7GHz quad-core processor, built-in floating point unit (FPU) and NEON SIMD engine, 2GB DDR4, video DSP hardware acceleration, whilst also boastings more powerful 4K video encoding and decoding capabilities. The F4-212 is adequate for home document backup and providing multimedia entertainment.
Operating System
F4-212 runs the operating system TOS 5, which adds more than 50 functions and 600 improvements compared with the previous generation. The features meet more business requirements, as well as significantly improving response speed, security, and ease of use.
Home Data Center
The F4-212 supports up to 22 TB of a hard drive, and the total capacity can reach 88 TB. It can store 30 million HD photos, 18 million working documents, 40,000 HD movies, and 4 million downloadable music, enabling you to back up the data in a Windows PC, MAC computer, mobile phone, HDD enclosure, and network disk to TNAS for centralized management.
