Until now many Desktop LTO tape SAS connect products feature large form factors that were noisy and not great for desktop environments. Symply's stand-alone LTO SAS tape drive delivers an affordable environmentally friendly solution that businesses can rely on for backup and archiving of data. All SymplyLTO SAS drives are fully compatible with Linear Tape File System (LTFS) software that enables a familiar drag and drop interface, allowing users to move files to tape storage in the same as they would with a conventional hard drive solution. LTFS can also reduce the need for specialist backup/archive software, allowing different users to easily interchange data on Mac, Windows, and Linux operating systems.

3: Always maintain at least three (3) copies of your data.
2: Store your copies across at least two (2) different storage mediums
1: Store at least one (1) of your copies at an offsite location.

0: Be sure to have verified the copies created have been made with zero (0) errors (and test a restore).
