The MobileMule 8117 is a 17 channel Mobile DVR which can connect and record simultaneously up to 16 cameras and an ethernet port to connect a forward facing IP camera. Footage records onto 2 included Western Digital 1TB hard drives with backup recording onto 1 SD card (sold separately) with a total storage capacity of 128GB. With built-in GPS, this high capacity DVR will record the vehicle's location and driving route as well as camera footage to provide the full picture from what's happening on the road. Perfect for fleets of trucks and buses, this DVR is vibration-proof and combines powerful functions together with a stable performance.
This DVR has live video remote viewing. This allows the DVR to connect to a WiFi hotspot in your vehicle. This model is compatible with jetpacks from all major carriers. Perfect for fleet tracking (can be used as a GPS tracker) and fleet management this DVR allows you to easily view and download footage even while the vehicle is on the road! to learn more about connecting to a WiFi network.
The user can also use a SIM Card for live remote viewing. This model can also be connected to a WiFi hotspot. to learn more about connecting to a 3G/4G network.

Secure Recording

Records camera feeds continuously, looping over oldest recordings when storage is full.

Recognizes sudden movements i.e. hard acceleration, sudden stops, speeding and impacts. Can set alerts to to keep these recordings as events.
Events
Can trigger certain recorded footage as events to be overwrite protected. These files are stored separately and include 20 seconds prior to event and 20 seconds after event.
Alarm Inputs
Manually create alarms so that associated footage is overwrite protected. Receive email alerts from these alarms.
Delay Power Off
Records footage while vehicle is off - up to 24 hours (draws power from vehicle's battery).
8 second power off delay- protects data for 8 seconds if DVR loses power completely (draws power from built-in capacitors).
GEO Fencing
Set a route and get alerted if vehicle deviates from it.
