The MobileMule 5500 is a highly functional mobile DVR designed for on-board vehicle recording. It has four ports to record up to four cameras simultaneously and an ethernet port to connect an IP camera. The MobileMule 5500 comes with GPS which gives you the option of recording the location and driving route together with the video footage. The DVR can be connected to a monitor so that you can view the cameras in real time in addition to recording them and allows you to view each camera independently or all together in a split view. The footage records onto two SD cards each with a 256gb capacity giving you a total of 512GB of storage capability. With a solid and compact build, the MobileMule 5500 is vibration-proof, installation-friendly and combines powerful functions together with a stable performance.
Secure Recording
Records onto two SD cards - each with a 256GB capacity. This gives the DVR a total storage capacity of 512GB.
Loop Recording
Records camera feeds continuously, looping over oldest recordings when storage is full.
IP Camera Ready
Equipped with an Ethernet Port to connect an IP camera. Military grade vibration and shock rating (ML-STD-810G).
G-Sensor
Recognizes sudden movements i.e. hard acceleration, sudden stops, speeding and impacts. Can set alerts to to keep these recordings as events.
Events
Can trigger certain recorded footage as events to be overwrite protected. These files are stored separately and include 20 seconds prior to event and 20 seconds after event.
Alarm Inputs
Manually create alarms so that associated footage is overwrite protected.
GPS Tracking
Record vehicle speed and location together with footage as well as the route the vehicle has driven.
Delay Power Off
Records footage while vehicle is off - up to 24 hours (draws power from vehicle's battery).
8 second power off delay- protects data for 8 seconds if DVR loses power completely (draws power from built-in capacitors).
