This tape library comes equipped with 80 cartridge slots which can be expanded up to 560 slots using 6 Q80 Library Expansion Modules (sold separately). In addition to the large number of cartridge slots, this unit features a 5.7" color touch-screen display for easy management along with the ability to slide out magazines to easily swap out tapes. Once configured, the Q80 can be accessed both locally and remotely using the menu-driven, graphical built-in control panel making it easy to access and control your tape library through the browser-based remote management interface (RMI).
The reliable Q80 Tape Library makes it easy to install the drives thanks to the self-calibrating all-digital servo control system. With the ability to auto-align the drives you no longer need to manually adjust the tapes to ensure they are inserted properly. The Q80 is even rated at 2,000,000 robot load/unload cycles to ensure long term system reliability.
