PRYME, BT-583APX-V2, Wireless Headset Adapter for APX XE Portable Radios No QD (Position of Radio Antenna)
Features:
- Compatible with thousands of readily available Wireless headsets and other audio accessories. (Audio accessories not included)
- Easy pairing process. Stores paired connection to the wireless headset even if the Radio is powered off or adapter is removed from the two-way radio.
- Works with the Motorola APX700 & 7500 series compatible radios or MotoTRBO XPR6300, XPR6500, and XPR6550. Not compatible with XPR3300/3500 (use BT-500-M11-V2 for these models).
Caution: The BT-583APX-V2 will mute both the internal microphone and speaker of your portable radio if no wireless audio accessory is paired with the device. You should detach the BT-583APX-V2 from the radio when no audio accessory is in use.
Note: There is NO QD Jack on the BT-583APX-V2 because of the protruding antenna mount on APX XE series of radios. The New V2 (Version 2) BT-583APX-V2 Wireless Headset Adapter (Dongle) now supports all LE (Low Energy) PTT buttons. The BT-583APX-V2 fits Motorola APX XE series radios and MotoTRBO XPR6100/6300/6500/and 7500 series Two Way Radios (for XPR 3300/3500 please use BT-500-M11-V2 Adapter). The PRYMEBLU® Adapter allows you to use any compatible wireless headset or other audio accessory with your two-way radio. The PRYMEBLU® Adapter is compatible with thousands of off the shelf consumer audio accessories and pairs easily, allowing you to operate wireless.
Notice: This model cannot use patent pending Auto-switch feature so to operate the radio normally (say if your BT headset fails) you must remove the adapter from the radio.
Special for APX XE Series Radios. The normal BT-583 with 6 pin HiRose accessory connector will not fit onto EX series radios because Antenna mount interfers with the HiRose connector so the 6 pin HiRose was removed. This is the only difference between a BT-583 and BT-583APX.
Hearing Aid Compatibility: The adapter should work with hearing aids that support the Bluetooth HSP (headset) profile. It will not work with "streamer" style hearings aids that use the A2DP (streaming audio) profile.
