Handheld tachometer with temperature measurement / Contact and optical speed measurement / RS232 interface / Battery and mains operation / Automatic switch-off / Strobe Measuring range 5 … 99,999 RPM / Speed measurement / Optional with ISO calibration certificate
The handheld tachometer has a contact speed measurement. The measuring range of the contact speed measurement with the handheld tachometer is 0.5 - 99,999 RPM. In order to transmit the speed to the handheld tachometer, the scope of delivery includes two rubber measuring tips with an inner and an outer cone. In the case of contact measurement with the handheld tachometer, the speed can also be determined in m/min, for example, using the measuring wheel.
In addition to the contact measurement, the speed can also be measured optically with the handheld tachometer. To do this, a piece of reflective tape measuring 1 x 1 cm is glued to the test object. The handheld tachometer can determine the speed through the reflection.
In addition, the speed can be determined from the handheld tachometer using the strobe function. With this function, many flashes follow one after the other from the handheld tachometer. The flash frequency can be doubled or halved for quick setting of the flash frequency on the handheld tachometer. The speed with the stroboscopic function on the handheld tachometer is then determined as soon as the test specimen can be seen continuously and standing upright through the flash.
In addition to measuring the number of revolutions and speed, the temperature can be determined with the handheld tachometer. Any type K thermocouple can be connected for this purpose. If required, a PT1000 resistance temperature sensor can also be connected.
Thanks to the many functions, the handheld tachometer can already be used in many areas. The handheld tachometer is used, for example, to determine the speed of conveyor belts and to determine the rotational speed of ventilation systems.
