The industrial silo scale for containers - fill level - removal - monitoring - offers the possibility to ensure the supply of a production facility effectively and reliably. The silo scale for container monitoring can not only monitor the current filling level of the container but also the continuous weight loss. By monitoring the current filling level, the silo scale for container - filling level - removal - monitoring - can prompt the machine operator to fill up the container in good time. For this purpose, the silo scale for container monitoring has three passive switching contacts (potential-free contact / optocoupler outputs / OC). A switching contact of the monitoring silo scale can be used for a green traffic light, for example. This switching contact is active when the actual status of the container is OK.
If the container reaches a minimum limit / minimum load, a second switching contact can switch a yellow or red traffic light, which is intended to prompt the user to fill up. The traffic lights are not included in the scope of delivery, but can be ordered as an option for the silo scale for container monitoring. The second monitoring option of the silo scale is the continuous weight loss. This function can monitor the filling processes of the machines and report irregularities in material removal. A weight loss per unit of time can be stored in the silo scale for containers - level - removal - monitoring. Example g/min, kg/min, g/hour, kg/hour. In the event of deviations in the material removal, the silo scale for container monitoring switches on a switching contact again, which can be used, for example, to trigger a siren/traffic light or to switch off the machine.
The aim of this monitoring is to prevent production machines from running empty, e.g. an external switching contact enables the monitoring function of the silo scale for containers to be interrupted in order to be able to remedy the faults on the container in peace. Accessories for the silo scale for container monitoring are, in addition to the various interfaces, e.g. a display which can be installed in a control cabinet.
