PCE-HVAC 3 Multifunction Environmental Meter with ISO calibration certificate. Measures relative humidity (% RH) and ambient room temperature (°C / °F) / Calculates dew-point and wet-bulb temperatures (°C / °F) / Features hold and extreme value measurement functions
PCE-HVAC 3 is a environmental meter or diagnostic measuring device used for indoor climate and environmental monitoring. In addition to measuring relative humidity and ambient room / dry-bulb temperature, the meter calculates dew-point and wet-bulb temperatures in degrees Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F). Thus, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) installations and HVAC system performance assessments are key applications of the PCE-HVAC 3 environmental meter. Measurements of relative humidity and ambient room / dry-bulb temperature are made directly by built-in sensors. Dew-point and wet-bulb temperatures are calculated based on the measurement values transmitted by the sensors.
Featuring a large, backlit display and six-button operation, the environmental meter is both easy to read and easy to use. The environmental meter is equipped to take one-time measurements on the spot as well as to monitor climate changes over time. The automatic shutdown function can be disabled when taking long-term measurements. There is also a thread on the back of the environmental meter to allow the measuring instrument to be mounted on a tripod. The extreme value measurement function can be activated during long-term monitoring to determine the minimum or maximum values over a desired period of time.
