The legs of the Carbon Line tripod pull out in four sections, giving it a working height from 21.25" to 65" (0.54 m to 1.65 m) with a transport length of only 23.5" (0.60 m). An adjustable slip guard keeps the tripod legs from sliding away on smooth surfaces. Combi tripod shoes allow for all terrain use on both, sensitive or slippery indoor floors and outdoors. Nedo Carbon Line tripod features a large, removable tripod head with a diameter of 5.5" (140 mm) for secure mounting of instruments with a 5/8" connection thread. The standard equipment also includes a smaller top plate for instruments with a 3/8" connection thread.
