The HDMI Full HD Extender over Cat6 (196') from KanexPro enables you to transmit and receive DVI/HDMI signals over distances further than those of standard HDMI/DVI cables, extending video and audio over a single Cat6/6a cable (not included). The HDMI Extender enables you to transmit a robust signal from an HDMI source (such as a Blu-ray device, cable box, or laptop) to a remotely-located display. The included IR-blaster extension cables help to maintain remote control over distant devices. The signal can be auto-adjusted, buffered, and equalized for optimal resolutions up to HD 1080p60. The HDMI Extender over Cat6 is suitable for small office, house of worship, and home theater Cat6 setups where the HDMI source device is located at a remote distance from the display. This HDCP and EDID compliant extender supports a 16-bit per channel rate (48-bit total). It features digital audio support via HDMI, and full IR control over Cat6/6a. The transmitter's HDMI-out port is a handy feature that enables you to preview output on a local display. Both transmitter and receiver are compact in form, and have built-in mounting brackets.
