The 24/7 Flashing Regulatory Beacon features a 12 inch ultra-bright red colored LED to draw drivers' attention to regulatory signs such as Stop, Yield, Do Not Enter, and Wrong Way. The beacon is solar powered which is a proven reliable power source. Solar power is a great benefit by allowing the freedom to locate or relocate a sign any where it is needed worry-free of power lines, road boring, costly easements or monthly power bill.
K&K Systems utilizes just 2 components to operate the 24/7 Flashing Beacon Series - a battery and the K&K Systems' SPLasher Beacon Controller, compact all-in-one solar controller. This design not only provides for simple maintenance, but also retrofits easily to any existing sign. We use a maintenance-free, sealed battery to eliminate any possible spills. Furthermore, the battery can be purchased locally if it should ever fail.
