Eastwood patent-pending design creates the perfect welding edge - a 0.062-inch, 45-degree beveled flange. Go down both sides of the edge to properly form them so you can do a full penetration MIG or TIG spot weld. Speaking of which, this air tool also has a hole punch mechanism to create the burr-free holes needed for good butt welding. Less grinding and leveling will be needed post-weld, making the entire piece stronger.
