Application Tips:
- Clean surface to be painted with Eastwood PRE, painting prep. Abrade substrate with 600 to 800 grit sandpaper. Mix 3:1 with activator. Apply 2 to 3coats, or until desired thickness is achieved. Metallics may take additional coats to achieve full coverage. Tack free in 1 hour, Tape dry in 8 hours, full cure in 18 to 24 hours. Temperature will affect dry times. Recoat window is 18 hours. Spray with a 1.5mm to 1.8mm tip size in either HVLP or conventional gun

Eastwood's Carbon Metallic Charcoal single stage paint is a premium acrylic urethane topcoat for exceptional long-lasting beauty. The charcoal metallic can also be used under other brands of candies. The metallic flakes are very coarse to really bring out the topcoat. Because of the course metallic flakes it is recommend to use a clear. Mix 3:1 with 32oz activator. Compatible with all Eastwood primers and clears.
Pro Tip: When spraying Single Stage Metallic and Pearl Paints, you can improve appearance by using the special additive Metalli-Flow Metallic Paint Enhancer to help lock and stabilize metallic and pearl particles for a perfect finish.
