Dayton Audios DAEX58FP Flat Pack exciter is the perfect choice to turn virtually any solid object into a speaker by vibrating it at speeds of up to 20,000 cycles per second. The DAEX58FP allows for the placement of sound where depth and space are limited.
Ideal for commercial or residential sound applications, the Dayton Audio DAEX58FP Flat Pack exciter easily mounts to almost any surface using adhesives (3M tape or gel glue recommended) or screw mounted. A 2-1/4" square plate can be attached to virtually any flat surface to produce an amazing sound, creating a speaker from almost any surface area. Surface materials include cardboard, glass, wood, steel, sheetrock, and more. The 58 mm exciter is heavily used in the automotive, industrial, point-of-sale, retail display, marine, aeronautical industries, digital signage, and art field, along with many other applications where space and depth limitations are a concern. The flat surface of this transducer can be glued, screwed or double-face taped to a wide variety of surfaces to suit almost endless needs. Surfaces include metal cabinets, glass panes, picture frames, wood tiles, under-table surfaces, inside display cabinets, cardboard signs, sheet metal, and much more.
