Dakota Alert MURS HT Kit Alert System, Hand-Held Transceiver

The HT kit consists of one MURS Alert™ transmitter and one M538-HT hand-held transceiver. This kit is ideal for people that are out and about, such as security guards, sales staff, and outdoorsmen.

The MAT MURS Alert transmitter is a revolutionary trail monitoring system. It's a passive infrared sensor that can be mounted on a tree or a post to monitor activity at remote locations. When the MURS Alert detects people, vehicles, or large animals, it will send an alert signal to either the M538-BS or M538-HT transceivers.

The M538-HT is a hand-held MURS transceiver that will receive alert signals from the MURS Alert transmitter and also can be used for two-way voice communications between other MURS transceivers.The HT has five channels and 38 sub channels to help you communicate with other users. When an alert signal is received from the MURS Alert transmitter, the HT will sound off with the voice alert signal, and will display an alert icon as a visual cue that an alert signal has been received. This has many different applications for small businesses, farmers, security guards or outdoorsmen.

• Both can be used indoors and outdoors, even during winter
• Helps monitor your perimeter - The MURS Alert Transmitter (MAT) has a passive infrared (PIR) sensor that detects large animals, vehicles, and people who are 30~80 feet in front of the MAT
• Provides a 2-way conversation - The M538-HT Transceiver receives alert messages from any MURS Alert Transmitter. It can also transmit the message to another MURS unit like the M538-BS Base Station
• Readily expandable - Dakota Alert doesn't limit you in how many MATs or MURS radios you can add in your wireless communication system. Pair 1, 2 or 4 MURS transmitters with several M538-HT units
• Doesn't require an FCC license - FCC allows the use of Multi-Use Radio Service (MURS) without a license. This VHF (Very High Frequency) radio operates in 151.820~154.600MHz frequencies
