Aluminum Chassis
The iPC M12 isn't your typical panel mount PC. It is designed with an aluminum housing and a sealed, hardened touch glass. Because the unit has an aluminum housing, there is no need to purchase a 3rd party case for your computer.
The iPC M12 is certified to meet IEC60068-2-27 standards for shock and vibration, making it great for use as a control panel on heavy machinery.
The Perfect Industrial Panel Mount PC
The iPC M12 has been designed to accommodate both VESA mounting brackets as well as being used as a panel mount PC. Mounting holes on the lip of the chassis allows you to mount this unit flush in an enclosure or integrate directly into a piece of heavy equipment.
As a panel mount PC, this unit will prevent ports and cables from being exposed to external elements, adding an extra layer of protection. The metal chassis is also far less likely to warp or deform when compared to a plastic unit resulting in a flush fit for the life of your unit.
A Power over Ethernet Industrial PC
Despite its small footprint, the iPC M12 is the perfect fit for a number of industrial applications. Manufacturing and distribution facilities are typically large, expansive areas with limited access to AC power. What this typically means is either running power cabling throughout the facility. This also makes it more difficult to add extra workstations to an existing production area.
Power over Ethernet provides much more flexibility. CAT5E and CAT6 cable is much easier to run through a facility and allows you to mount a workstation anywhere.
Rated For Extreme Conditions
The iPC M12 was created for the types of conditions typically found in manufacturing and industrial environments. The aluminum chassis makes this much more durable than a typical PC, but beyond that it has been rated for extreme temperatures and humidity. The iPC M12 can withstand temperatures ranging from -20°C (-4°F) to 50°C (122°F). It has also been tested at 10%-90% humidity.
Beyond that the unit is fanless and IP65 rated, preventing harmful particles like dust and liquid from penetrating the chassis and damaging components.
Compact Design, Full Sized Ports
Even though IPC M12 panel mount pc has a small footprint, it brings a lot of adaptability with it. Because of the number of full sized ports that come standard, you can integrate it with a number of different devices.
The iPC M12 comes with 4 USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI, and two LAN ports.
Chemically Hardened Tempered Touch Glass
It isn't just the internal components that have been engineered to withstand the toughest environments. Cybernet uses a chemically hardened, tempered touch glass on all of all-in-one PCs that can withstand significant punishment without cracking. This is especially useful on industrial panel PCs that are used in warehouses or on a manufacturing line. Having a durable, yet responsive touch glass will cut down on maintenance and repair costs over the life of your computer.
