Series A500 2" backset Mortise Lock case has a unique design. It features a stainless steel latch bolt and a full 1" throw solid stainless steel deadbolt. The exposed metal buttons are well-finished to match the appearance of the stainless steel latch and deadbolt.

Function: Entrance with Egress

Latch by knob from either side except when the outside is locked by a stop button or projected deadbolt. Latch deadlocked by auxiliary latch or deadbolt. Deadbolt by turn piece from inside. The inside lever restarts the latch and deadbolt simultaneously and automatically unlocks the outside lever. The stop button relocks the outside lever.
