The Thermobuffer Temperature Sensor is designed for walk-in coolers and freezers. The fluid-filled chamber tracks the temperature of the contents rather than the air temperature, eliminating the false alarms caused by repeated openings of the refrigerator or freezer door. The unit comes in three buffer sizes in 304 stainless steel and can be mounted to the wall or by a wire shelf hanger.
The BAPI Thermobuffer Temperature Sensor is used to simulate the refrigerator contents rather than the refrigerator air temperature. The f luid-filled chamber allows for slower reaction to abrupt temperature changes, yet still maintains long-term accuracy if the change remains permanent. It eliminates the temperature spikes due to frequent refrigerator or freezer door opening and decreases false alarms.
