A compact, motor-driven cam timer, the 324C serves as a multipulse repeat cycle timer, precisely controlling twelve load circuits through easily-set screwdriver-adjustable cams. Timer provides a broad range of cycle times suitable for multipulse repeat cycle operation through a set of interchangeable gears.
Easy and Precise Cam Adjustment
ATC's unique split-cam design allows for each side of the cam to be separately screwdriver-adjustable in either direction: one side determines the precise instant during the cycle when the switch will actuate for a multipulse repeat cycle; the other side sets the duration of actuation. Adjustments are exact: 1/4 turn of the screw equals 0.5% of the cycle time. A setting disc, calibrated in 1% increments, facilitates program set-up and cycle progress indication.
Precision Switches
As a time or sequence programmer and multipulse repeat cycle timer, the 324C fitted with twelve cam-operated switches. Each SPDT precision switch can handle 10 amps at 120 VAC and has a 1/3 hp rating at 120VAC.
Wide Range of Cycle Times
The 324C offers a choice of synchronous motors for various timing ranges, each motor providing an adjustable range of 21 cycle times with a ratio of over 2.5:1, through interchangeable gears. Gear changes are straightforward and quick.
Accuracy
The repeat and setting accuracy of the 324C as a multipulse repeat cycle timer are both within ± 0.25%.
