The DXFP-RX-4K60 is an HDMI receiver with 4K at 60Hz 4:4:4 and HDCP 2.2 compatibly. It receives an HDMI signal with embedded audio over optical cable from an Enova DGX Digital Media Switcher, or directly from a DXFP-TX-4K60. The RS-232 port on a DXFP-T=RX-4K60 supports bidirectional serial data via the optical cable to/from the RS-232 port on a DXFP-TX-4K60. The IR TX and IR RX ports on a DXFP-RX-4K60 each support unidirectional IR data via the optical cable to/from the IR RX and IR TX ports on a DXFP-TX-4K60. The USB Host and Device ports on a DXFP-RX4K60 each support transmitting USB data via the optical cable to/from the USB Device and Host ports on a DXFPTX-4K60. The DXFP-RX-4K60 features SmartScale® Technology (integrated EDID output scaling) to ensure an appropriate output resolution, plus it supports a Manual (override) option for setting up custom resolutions and a Bypass option. It can be controlled through sending ICSP commands from a NetLinx Central Controller and also supports CEC control and pass through to control 3rd-Party devices.
Common Applications
Fiber uses light to distribute data, rather than electric signals making it both the highest quality and most secure way to route video as it is not susceptible to electronic noise or non-intrusive physical wiretapping. This module is compatible with DGX DXLink 4K60 Fiber output cards and DXLink 4K60 Fiber transmitters. It is ideal for applications where the demands of high-resolution video clarity, long distance transmission, and maximum security need to be met without compromise, including campus-wide distribution of sources that are shared between classrooms, secure military applications, casinos, arenas, and museums.
