This is a perfect microscope for students to learn science. There are five magnification settings, 40X, 100X, 250X, 400X, and 1000X. It comes with full optical glass elements, a metal framework, a 360° rotatable monocular head, and an LED illumination system. Along with the LED transmitted lighting, we include a free gooseneck LED lamp that mounts behind the nosepiece for reflected lighting. The LED illumination system uses either an outlet (adapter included) or three AA batteries (or re-chargeable batteries). It is an ideal microscope for home school or for students in elementary to high school. It is also an excellent instrument for hobbyists. The bundle also includes a 1MP digital microscope camera, a 3-piece precision tweezer set, and a 72-piece blank slide set with 100-piece cover glass slips.
