This management cable is a USB-to-Serial converter with a USB-A male connector and an RJ-45 female receptor. The cable is designed to connect a laptop/desktop computer and a network device, like switch or router, which has an RJ-45 style RS-232 console port.

It is compatible with the USB 2.0/1.1 standard and works conveniently with desktop and laptop PCs. It can also be used with large integrated computer-based systems, or other specialized applications such as networking equipment.

This management cable provides a Pulg-and-Play connectivity solution.
