The Versa'larm™ 1-Zone Wireless Alarm System is an indoor rated alarm panel, powered by a standard 120VAC wall outlet. When powered, the green LED will illuminate on the alarm panel. Included with the alarm system: indoor wireless receiver, wireless transmitter, float switch. This alarm system is used for water and wastewater applications.
The alarm panel is equipped with audible and visual alarm indication, activated by the normally open float switch connected to the terminal block. A variety of sensors can be used such as a float switch, pressure switch, or any "dry" type sensor that "closes" during an alarm condition (normally open or normally closed). Installing a 9VDC battery (not included) provides battery backup during power outages. Use the auxiliary contacts to connect to building automation systems (BAS) and phone dialers. Multiple sensors (signaling device) can be connected for expanded monitoring.
When the liquid level rises activating the float switch and wireless transmitter, it sends a signal to the alarm panel to indicate an alarm condition, during which the red alarm LED will illuminate, buzzer will annunciate, and the auxiliary contacts will activate. The alarm condition will stay on until the float switch is deactivated. If the alarm silence pushbutton is pressed during an alarm condition, it will silence the buzzer. The silence condition will reset when the float switch deactivates and the alarm panel will auto reset for the next alarm cycle.
NOTE: The wireless transmitter is a waterproof unit that comes with an internal lithium battery. The battery life is approximately five years under normal operating conditions. Test monthly to ensure the system is working properly. Battery replacement: BWA-BATT-006, consult factory for ordering.
