Send data to GageMux gage interface or other Digimatic input devices. This FlashCable gage interface is engineered to convert the output on the Wilson Rockwell R2000 Hardness Tester to a Digimatic format. The 9-pin female connector on this Advanced Systems & Designs FlashCable connects directly to the male connector on the Wilson Hardness Tester.
This FlashCable gage interface is designed to work with GageMux gage interface or other similar devices that recognize the Mitutoyo Digimatic signal. The FlashCable does not obtain any power from the Wilson Rockwell R2000 Hardness Tester. When properly connected to GageMux interface, pin 9 of the 10-pin input port provides the power to the FlashCable gage interface. On devices other than the GageMux, pin 9 of the input port connector must provide a 5vDC power to the FlashCable.
When the FlashCable gage interface is powered by the GageMux the LED on the FlashCable turns solid GREEN. The LED briefly flashes RED when the data is being sent or a data request is triggered.
The data transfer can be triggered using the following method:
- Using the PRINT / ENTER button on the Wilson Rockwell R2000 Hardness Tester
A detailed operation manual is included with this FlashCable gage interface. As a default setting, Advanced Systems & Designs sets the FlashCable gage interface to the default RS232 communication settings on the Wilson Rockwell R2000 Hardness Tester. The Wilson Hardness Tester and FlashCable gage interface must be set to the same communication values. Refer to the Wilson Rockwell R2000 Hardness Tester product manual / operating instructions for more information on external communication. Six foot standard cable length.
